We are a law office which practices Immigration and Nationality Law exclusively, concentrating on visas for professionals, managers and investors, both for temporary nonimmigrant visas and for permanent residence.

Our clients are in a wide range of businesses throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, including semiconductors, software, biotechnology, engineering, architecture, insurance, finance, winemaking, manufacturing, education, consulting, accounting, social services, and law. We represent both companies and individuals.

We are available for consultation on the telephone or by e-mail. Generally there is no charge for a single telephone or e-mail consultation, unless a formal memorandum is appropriate.

Fees for virtually all cases are on a fixed fee basis, which we will be glad to quote after discussing your case with you.

Of course our office cannot accept every case. If your case is outside of our area of expertise, or we do not have sufficient time to devote to it, we will do our best to refer you to other attorneys who may be more appropriate for your case.

I have practiced law since 1973, specializing in Immigration and Nationality since 1983. My BA degree was from the University of California at Santa Barbara which included a year of study at the University of Bordeaux, France, and I received my law degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.

In 1973, I was admitted to the bar in Washington State and in 1978 to the California bar. In 1989 I received certification as a Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law from he State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

After admission to the bar I practiced in Seattle for six years. I then spent three years in Germany working as a research assistant at the Institute for Private International Law at the University of Cologne. Since 1983 I have specialized in Immigration and Nationality law, which I practiced in San Francisco until 2005 when I moved to Santa Fe, NM.

I speak German, French and Spanish.

Since 1985 I have been a proud member of American Immigration Lawyers Association

My other interests are cycling, running, yoga, cross-country skiing, and weight lifting.
